Regione Marche (Local Regional Authority in Marche) has officially declared opened the activities for TSF-made E-Ticketing System pilot project, which will involve Conerobus S.p.a. Autolinee Bucci s.r.l. di Senigallia (AN), Contram S.p.a. di Camerino (MC) and Trenitalia Direzione Regionale Marche (Regional District).

Upon school re-opening after the summer break, the E-Ticketing system has been deployed, replacing the old paper passes with a smart card. Throughout this first implementation phase, the microchip card will offer several features:

  • Suburban-line/Urban-zone basic Pass;
  •  TrenoMarcheBus (urban/suburban bus & train fare and ride integration) Pass;
  • Electronic Purse to charge some credit in order to access any and all available services within the pilot project.

The Regione Marche-driven project steps into its operation phase, in order to test all benefits of  a more user-friendly and innovative use of the local transport.

TSF strong experience with the organization and management of complex end-to-end systems represent the solid basis of a wide range of IT solutions addressing Local Public Transport Operators (Integrated Ticketing, Fleet Management, Shift & Roster Plan Management, Information to Passengers), as well as Logistics Operators (Freight Yard & Plant Management, Transport Logistics, Access Control, Vehicle & Goods Transit Control to/from Multi-modal corridors – SlimMove Project – Industria 2015 Programme), and Local Administration Entities (City Logistics for Goods Distribution Planning & Coordination, Route Dynamic Re-calculation via means of local traffic real-time data, Urban Traffic Intermodal Mobility-related Heterogeneous Information Real-time Management – Pegasus Project – Industria 2015 Programme).
